Nutrition Clinic

is a comprehensive nutrition counselling center staffed by a registered nutritionist- dietitian and other health care professionals who have extensive education, training and experience in clinical nutrition. Clinical in this sense refers to the management of patients, including not only outpatients at clinics, but also (and mainly) inpatients in hospitals. It incorporates primarily the scientific fields of nutrition and dietetics. It aims to keep a healthy lifestyle like right amount of energy requirement from food, balance diet, right amount of nutrients needed by the body such as protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals. They will partner with you to improve your nutritional health and quality of life.

1. Medical Nutrition Therapy

Is a type of treatment for nutrition-related diseases that includes a review of what the patient eats, the patient’s eating habits, a thorough review of nutritional health, and a personalized nutrition treatment plan.

2. Weight Loss Management

Is the process of adopting long-term lifestyle modification to maintain a healthy body weight on the basis of a person’s age, sex and height. Methods of weight management include eating a healthy diet and increasing physical activity levels.

3. Up Building Diet

It is specifically for people who have lost or are losing weight, or who can only manage to eat small amounts. Not everyone will be able to put on weight with this diet, but it should help to slow down or stop further weight loss.

4. Therapeutic Diet

Is a meal plan that controls the intake of certain foods or nutrients. It is part of the treatment of a medical condition and is normally prescribed by a physician and planned by a dietitian. A therapeutic diet is usually a modification of a regular diet. In therapeutic diets, modifications are done in nutrients, texture and food allergies or food intolerances.

5. Exercise Prescription

Is a basic plan or program of activity designed by experts to enhance the well-being of a patient. It is usually recommended for overweight, obese and patients, who really need some functional activities. Eating a healthier diet featuring more fruits and vegetables along with good fats; management of stress; and setting a target body weight as a long-term goal are all part of exercise prescription.
